Wildlife Photography Workshop for Musk Ox

Join me on a photography workshop to witness the roaming musk-oxen herds that have roamed this area for 20,000 years. When our wildlife photography is done we will watch the skies for the northern lights above the mountains of Dovrefjell.

This wildlife photography expedition takes place in the mountains in Norway. Together with an official National Park guide, you will dog sled into the mountains of Dovrefjell in Norway where you will photograph wild roaming musk-oxen. These mammals were reintroduced into the park, a region similar to where they have roamed for 20,000 years. The park contains an almost intact ecosystem that includes wild reindeer, wolverines, arctic foxes, ravens, and golden eagles. These are the only population of musk oxen in Norway. Our camp is one of a few places in the world where you can experience the majestic muskox in their natural habitat.

You will need to be prepared to camp in nylon tents in the snow for 3 nights and ride on a dog sled. All camping equipment and snowshoes will be provided. You will need to be in shape to walk a few miles in the snow with your camera gear.
