Join me on small-group photography workshops to some of the places I know and enjoy photographing most.
I have been leading photography workshops since 2013, and over those years I have learned that the best trips are not simply about getting photographers to great locations. They are about group size, preparation, timing, local relationships and making sure every photographer has the opportunity to create the images they travelled there to make.

SMALL GROUPS
Photography becomes much harder when too many people are competing for position. I prefer small groups that give photographers room to work and allow me to spend time with everyone.
PLACES I KNOW
Whenever possible, I lead workshops in destinations I know. Experience matters. Knowing where the light falls and how wildlife behaves helps us make better decisions in the field.
TEACHING IN THE FIELD
I am there to help when you need it. We can work on camera settings, composition, light, wildlife behaviour, environmental portraits and post-processing throughout the workshop.
YOUR PHOTOS COME FIRST
I love making photographs, but when I am leading a workshop, you come first. Sometimes the best thing I can do is leave my camera in the bag and help someone else capture the moment.

WHY PHOTOGRAPHERS TRAVEL WITH ME
After more than a decade of leading photography workshops, I have become increasingly convinced that the small details often make the biggest difference.
Where we position a vehicle.
How many photographers are sharing a location.
Whether we stay another twenty minutes because the light might improve.
Whether a portrait session begins with a conversation instead of a camera.
Whether the workshop leader is paying attention to the photographer beside them instead of concentrating on their own images.
Those are the things I think about when I lead a workshop.
My goal is simple: help you experience an extraordinary place and come home with photographs you are proud of.
