Photography Workshops In Africa

An African Photography Safari gets into your soul. I can attest to this… I have now been traveling to Africa since 2013. The African countries I have extensive experience in are Tanzania and Namibia.

In Namibia, you can climb the highest sand dunes in the world. Descend to the floor of the deepest canyon in Africa. Immerse yourself in the past at one of the Africa's richest rock art sites, and watch wildlife shimmer against one of the most spectacular pans on earth. Explore the oldest, driest desert in the world and take time to listen to the silence and to your soul. Namibia is home to vibrant cities where people are excited about the future while remaining deeply connected to their rich, cultural past. A stable, democratic government, infrastructure that allows guests to move confidently off the beaten path, and endless horizons that beckon you to explore define this country and its people.

Tanzania is a country of natural splendor, unparalleled wildlife, calming beaches, charming ancient towns, and archaeological sites that date back to the earliest history of man. Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, rises from lush, grassy plains and towers over the land. Its snow-capped peak is a sight to behold from the planes of the Serengeti. It is the ideal bush and beach destination, where the people that travel with me can witness the world’s most photogenic wildlife occurrences, thundering herds of the Great Migration circling across the Serengeti plains, and end their unforgettable safari with a serene beach holiday in Zanzibar.

2025 NAMIBIA PHOTO TOUR

Mar 30, 2025 – Apr 9, 2025

Namib has been a desert for 60 to 80 million years, making it the oldest desert on earth… and definitely one of the most photogenic. The magnificent red sand dunes run seemingly forever and stretch to the sky. They may not be quite that tall, but a sand dune that is 20 miles long and the height of three football fields is big! The landscape photographer's bucket list must include the red sand dunes and petrified forests of Namibia.
